What are BIAB nails?

BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) is a strengthening gel that helps your natural nails grow longer and stronger without extensions. It’s one of my most popular services for clients in Torbay who want long-lasting, natural-looking nails.

Do you offer nail art?

Yes - and I love it. From simple French tips to detailed nail art, I’ll work with you to create a set that suits your style. If you’ve got inspo, bring it along.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive on time with bare nails if possible. If it’s your first visit or you’re having a specific treatment, I may ask you to come in for a quick patch test beforehand.

Nail FAQs

How long do BIAB or gel nails last?

Most BIAB and gel nails last around 2–3 weeks, depending on your lifestyle and aftercare. Regular infills keep your nails looking fresh and help maintain the health of your natural nails. Expert application paired with quality aftercare is the key to long lasting nails.

Do I need to book a removal?

If you already have product on your nails from a previous set, please book a removal alongside your new appointment. This gives me enough time to safely remove and reapply without rushing.

Piercing FAQs

What ear piercings do you offer in Torbay?

I offer a range of ear piercings including helix, conch, rook and lobe piercings. If you’re not sure what suits you, I’ll help you choose something that works with your anatomy and style.

Does a piercing hurt?

Pain levels vary depending on the placement, but most clients say it’s quick and manageable. I’ll talk you through everything so you feel calm and comfortable throughout.

How long do ear piercings take to heal?

Healing times vary. Lobes typically take around 6-8 weeks, whereas a cartilage piercing (helix, conch, rook) can take anywhere from 3 to 9 months. Good aftercare is key to smooth healing.

What jewellery do you use?

I use high-quality, safe jewellery suitable for fresh piercings. I can also source specific pieces if you’re after something unique or a particular style -  just ask and I'll discuss your options.

Do I need to fill in a consent form?

Yes - all piercing clients are required to complete a digital consent form before their appointment. This ensures everything is safe, compliant and ready for your visit.

Can I change my jewellery later?

Yes, but only once your piercing has healed properly. If you’re unsure, you can always come back and I’ll change it for you safely.
